About Una Pizza Napoletana
Since 1996, Anthony Mangieri's focus has been on naturally-leavened, wood-fired pizzas. Complemented with a few appetizers, made-daily ice cream and seasonal sorbetto, and a selection of Italian wines and beer, guests enjoy sitting in our dining room surrounded by one-of-a-kind pieces of art (many of which were created by dear friends) while watching Anthony work the dough by hand and carefully bake only three pizzas at a time in our wood-fired oven. The choice to have only one location allows for an obsessive focus on every detail.
Located at 175 Orchard St, New York, NY 10002, Una Pizza Napoletana operates as a pizza restaurant serving New York in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 4 days of the week. The most common schedule is 5β9:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Una Pizza Napoletana at (646) 476-4457; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

From the moment you walk in, the aroma of pizza, and wood fire completely captivates you. The crust is cooked perfectly with the wood fire char around it. The ingredients were all fresh and flavorful! Beyond the incredible food, the service is warm, fast, and welcoming. Will definitely book another reservation on my next trip to NYC!

I love Una Pizza Napoletana! This was my third visit in a few months time. Everyone here is so nice and helpful! The pizza is a real work of art and it's so hard to choose which one to get. The taste of the sauce and cheese is exceptional and I love the light and airy high crust. It takes a lot of work to make pizza like this but they've mastered the craft. The pizza is served uncut/Italian style. I prefer to use a fork and knife for most of it but I've seen people cut theirs and pick it up as well. The almond cremolata for dessert is not to be missed! Can't wait to go back again.

Had one of the best pizza experiences here. The crust was perfectly charred and airy, with that authentic wood-fired flavor thatβs hard to find. Every ingredient tasted fresh and balanced, especially the cheese and sauce. The atmosphere felt simple but genuine, letting the food speak for itself. Definitely a spot worth coming back to if you appreciate true Neapolitan pizza.

Definitely the best pizza in New York, and itβs an honor to watch Anthony handcraft each pizza right in front of you. You can tell how passionate he is about his work. The staff and service were outstanding, and it made you feel like you were dining at someoneβs home. To top everything off, the dessert was perfect! Simple and not too sweet, just the way we like it. We will definitely be back soon!

So i would have yo be honest I didnβt find the pizza to be the best in the world kind. It was a good pizza the flavours were there and the cheese was kind of extremely chewy, which personally I didnβt like that much but i guess some people do. But the burrata and the sorbet stole the show. I mean the burrata was something i never tasted. The taste the flavour the milkiness was like something i never had before. Went very well with the olive oil. Must try. Also the sorbet was the best i have ever had. I mean it was divine. The taste and the texture was unlike any. I would recommend people to go for the burrata and the sorbet if you can find a reservation that is. Also that fact that Chef Anthony makes every pizza himself really tells you about how much he cared about his art. The service was top notch.
